Calling all young entrepreneurs to the KEVA Sunnyside Market!
This event will take place on August 15th, 11:00am-4:00pm at the KEVA studio!
A celebration of big ideas, creative thinking, and the next generation of makers! Join us for a fun, inspiring day where young entrepreneurs showcase and sell their products, share their stories, and bring their bright ideas to life. From handmade goods to clever creations, this festival is all about supporting kids with creativity, confidence, and a whole lot of heart. Come shop, cheer them on, and discover what these amazing young makers have been dreaming up!
This event is hosted and sponsored by KEVA, but run by students themselves! High school students from Midlothian and James River, some of which have been involved in similar programs to the market, are here to aide young business owners in their entrepreneurial success!
Big ideas start here! If you're ready to share your creativity, products, or business with the community, we'd love for you to apply. All participants must complete an application, and spots are limited. So dream big, fill out the application, and show us what makes your business uniquely you! The deadline for applications is June 25th, 2026, and acceptances will come out on July 1st!
There is a fee of $20 for any accepted participants, which we will collect on the day of the market through cash, check (addressed to KEVA), or Venmo. Fee is per group, not per person!

FAQs
1. What is the age range for the event?
- All students in grade levels 2-8 for the 2026-2027 school year are able to participate! There will be two award categories in order to ensure the event is fair to all entrepreneurs, one for elementary school, grades 2-5, and one for middle school, grades 6-8.
2. Do I need to live in Hallsley to participate?
- All businesses need to have at least one participating member residing in Hallsley to be eligible for the market, but feel free to collaborate with friends outside the neighborhood!
3. How do I know if I've been accepted into the market?
- Once you apply through the Google Form, our team will review the submissions and send an email if we decide that you are a good fit for the event!

Tea Towels | Machine wash cold, do not bleach. Tumble dry low.
Gallery Art Tray + Art Pop | Wipe tray and pop art with a damp cloth. Do not submerge. Wash clear plastic cover by hand in warm soapy water. Do not place in dishwasher or microwave.
Coasters | Hand wash. Do not soak. Dry promptly.
Leather Jewelry + Watch Bands | Make KEVA the finishing touch while getting ready. Avoid water, makeup, hair products, and essential oils (they can permanently discolor leather). Gently wipe clean with a damp cloth—use extra care with lighter leathers.
